Amid elaborate hidden entrances, guests enter the Realm, an apothecary inspired by the Far East that offers elevated booths, a Jade bar, and plenty of flickering candles.

Just the name itself is fascinating.

Another speakeasy hidden among the UTC shops in La Jolla. An ornately decorated dark-blue liquor storefront disguises the small venue. It is only necessary to inform the clerk that you have a reservation, and they will take care of the rest. There is no charge to walk-in, but you run the risk of not getting in, especially during the weekend.
